Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planning Analyst to support our demand forecasting and supply chain planning processes.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain) to ensure accurate demand forecasts, improve inventory visibility, and support data-driven decision-making.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong Excel and analytical skills who want to grow their career in demand planning and supply chain analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining demand forecasts by product, channel, and region
- Analyze historical sales data, trends, and demand patterns
- Support forecast validation by identifying risks and opportunities
- Help monitor and improve forecast accuracy and performance metrics
- Prepare reports and insights for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings
- Track key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, service levels, and stock availability
- Perform root cause analysis on forecast variances
- Assist in managing planning data within ERP/MRP systems
- Help track and update work orders and planning signals
- Support inventory planning initiatives to ensure optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align forecasts
- Support new product launch planning and demand estimation
- Ensure data accuracy across systems and reports
- Assist in improving demand planning processes and reporting tools
- Maintain documentation for planning workflows and procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or related field
- At least 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, data analysis, or similar role.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Experience in e-commerce, FMCG, or supply chain environment is an advantage.
- Exposure to forecasting tools, planning systems, or Amazon operations is an advantage.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement is an advantage.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
