Role Overview
The Supply Chain and Operations Officer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes of the organization. This role focuses on demand and capacity planning, inventory management, scheduling, risk mitigation, and process improvement.The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency, maintain high inventory accuracy, and foster strong relationships with key external supply chain and logistics partners to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Planning & Scheduling: Determine finished goods, materials, and capacity needs based on demand. Establish timelines for production, shipping, and receiving.
- Inventory Control: Implement inventory strategies, maintain high data accuracy via audits and annual physical counts, and update financial information.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks across supply, production, delivery, and customer demand.
- Process Improvement: Initiate supply chain improvements utilizing ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and external partners.
- 2+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Proficient with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail (variance tracking), analytical mindset, and excellent coordination skills.
