Position Overview:As a Junior Finance Assistant at gigCMO Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations' financial integrity and efficiency. Reporting to the financial controller, you will be responsible for various financial and analytical tasks working closely with your Finance Associate colleague as well as the Controller, CEO and COO.
Key Responsibilities: Perform project-specific financial analysis.
Verify and analyse the billing process for accuracy and timeliness.Oversee accounts payable, including invoice and bill payments and other financial transactions.
Respond to financial queries and actively contribute to budget management.
Collaborate with the financial controller to optimise financial operations.
Process payroll efficiently.
Handle general accounting and month-end closing tasks.
Manage accounts payable and receivables.
Produce comprehensive financial reports.
Assist in external audits conducted by our UK accountants for Annual Accounts and Taxation.
Engage with clients professionally.
Audit all documents to ensure contracts and change orders have appropriate approvals, signatures, and accurate billing.
Participate in month and year-end processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Expense sheets.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
2+ years of experience in public accounting or related fields.
Experience and Certification in QuickBooksExcellent communication and organisational skills.
Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookup, data extracts, and analysis.
Unsurpassed accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple concurrent demands.
Initiative to identify, prioritise, and implement necessary elements for the team's responsibilities.
Knowledge of UK VAT Taxation is a plus.
