 I.  PURPOSE

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in identifying new business opportunities and driving growth within our IT services portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology trends, a proven track record in sales and business development, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities in the IT sector
  • Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor solutions that meet market demands.

Business Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and new client acquisition
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and internal teams

Sales Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective sales strategies and campaigns
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and check-ins with clients to foster long-term relationships and gather feedback

Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor and report on business development activities, sales metrics, and overall performance against targets
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions effectively.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with technical teams to understand service offerings and communicate them effectively to clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
 A.  Minimum Education
  • A graduate of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred)
 B.  Minimum Experience/Training
  • At least 5 years' experience in business development or sales within the IT industry
 C.  Competency
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
IV. WORKING CONDITIONS
  • May require working beyond normal business hours, including weekends and holidays to meet project deadlines or address urgent client issues
