Procurement and Category Expert

Independently coordinate and manage procurement and category management workflows, contracts, projects, and milestones to ensure timely execution and visibility.
  • Maintain and govern category, supplier, and contract data within purchased services systems to support accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on category processes, contract interpretation, and supplier‑related issues.
  • Support and coordinate RFPs, bids, negotiations, and contract documentation across assigned healthcare categories.
  • Lead supplier onboarding activities, ensuring data quality standards and documentation requirements are met.
  • Develop, analyse, and distribute category, spend, contract, and supplier performance reports to category leaders and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and accounts payable teams to resolve PO, invoicing, and reconciliation issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and category processes, documentation, and data quality.

Own complex healthcare categories driving sourcing and supplier performance.Structured training, hybrid transition, and long-term growth in procurement.

Ideal CandidateNon‑Negotiables:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement or category management
  • Proven experience supporting sourcing, contracting, and supplier management activities.
  • Strong skills in category and supplier data management, reporting, and analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‑solving skills.

Good‑to‑Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Exposure to medical or clinical categories
  • Experience supporting purchased services or supplier management in a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide expert‑level input.
Role Set‑Up & Work Arrangement
  • First 3 Months: Full on‑site, night shift, during training and ramp‑up period.
  • Post‑Training: Transition to a hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days per week return‑to‑office; remaining days work from home), subject to steady‑state performance.
  • Shift Schedule: Night shift - 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (PHT).
