Data Center Supervisor

Role Summary:

This role manages real-time incident response and escalation, enforces operational and security standards, and participates in UAT and contingency testing. By providing clear shift-level leadership, the Supervisor safeguards SLA compliance, minimizes operational risks, and maintains accurate and timely communication to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Must have at least 5 years of working experience as a Data Center Operator / Data Center Specialist with at least 1 year working experience in a Supervisory level
• Basic knowledge of data center operations, transaction processing, and industry regulations, with an understanding of how these impact business continuity and customer service.

• Data Center Operations & Monitoring - Executes daily monitoring of systems, settlements, and batch jobs with accuracy and timeliness.
• Incident, Problem & Change Management - Follows escalation protocols, logs incidents completely, and supports problem investigations.
• Settlement Monitoring & Risk Mitigation - Tracks net settlement positions, escalates discrepancies, and supports risk mitigation tasks.
• Batch Processing & Job Scheduling - Executes scheduled batch jobs and verifies outputs using approved checklists.
• Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Readiness - Participates in contingency testing, UAT, and readiness drills.
• Technical Platforms Knowledge - Familiarity with switch applications, AIX/Unix basics, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts.
• Service Level Management & Reporting - Records metrics and alerts accurately; reviews dashboards for anomalies.
• Documentation & SOP Compliance - Completes logs and checklists accurately; follows SOPs diligently.
• Security & Compliance Awareness - Adheres strictly to data security and confidentiality protocols.
