Inventory Planning Analyst

The Inventory Planning Analyst is responsible for optimizing inventory levels across the network while supporting service level, cost, and operational efficiency targets.

The role combines inventory planning (demand forecasting, replenishment, stock monitoring) with an assurance component focused on generating, calculating, analyzing, and publishing the Supply Chain Management (SCM) scorecard. The position ensures:

1. Optimized Inventory Levels: Maintaining the right balance of stock to meet demand without overstocking, which can tie up capital and increase storage and write-off costs.
2. Data Analysis, Reporting, and Assurance: Providing accurate, timely SCM scorecard results and inventory reports, enabling management to make informed decisions and monitor performance against KPIs.
3. Demand Forecasting: Analyzing sales data, market trends, and historical information to predict future inventory needs and prepare for demand fluctuations.

Governance and Control: Supporting data quality, KPI integrity, and adherence to inventory planning standards and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

Relevant Experience:

• Previous experience in inventory management, demand/supply planning, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in KPI reporting, data analysis, or scorecard/dashboard management is an advantage

Business Understanding:

• Basic understanding of end-to-end supply chain, from demand generation to fulfillment.
• Awareness of how inventory, service levels, and working capital impact overall business performance.
• Understanding of performance management concepts (KPIs, scorecards, targets, variance analysis).
