About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on production planning, demand planning, material requirements planning, and inventory optimization.The role is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination across Production, Procurement, Engineering, Sales, and Logistics to support operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and on-time customer delivery.
This position is critical in strengthening the company's planning capabilities and driving effective supply chain strategies that balance customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead production planning, material planning, and inventory management activities to ensure uninterrupted operations and timely fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Develop and monitor demand forecasts and supply plans in coordination with Sales, Production, and Procurement teams.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels through effective planning of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
- Manage logistics operations including inbound materials, warehouse management, transportation planning, and outbound deliveries.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production schedules, procurement activities, and customer demand requirements.
- Monitor and analyze key supply chain and logistics KPIs, including inventory turnover, OTIF, forecast accuracy, freight cost, and warehouse performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, reduce costs, improve service levels, and optimize overall supply chain performance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- At least 5–10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Material Planning, or Logistics Management.
- Strong background in demand planning, inventory management, production planning, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or high-volume production.
- Knowledge of MRP, ERP systems (SAP or similar), and S&OP processes is preferred.
- Proven leadership experience managing planning, logistics, or warehouse teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
