Job Overview
The Supply Chain Commercialization Manager is responsible for leading the supply chain and operational execution of new product launches, marketing initiatives, and business projects from planning through commercialization. This role ensures alignment across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Marketing, and external suppliers to deliver products efficiently, on time, and within agreed operational parameters.
The role oversees production readiness, material availability, launch execution, demand alignment, and post-launch support while driving continuous improvements to enhance commercialization speed, visibility, and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Commercialization & Project Management- Lead end-to-end supply chain commercialization activities for New Product Launches (NPL) and Business-As-Usual (BAU) initiatives
- Partner with Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, and suppliers to ensure operational readiness for launches
- Conduct supportability assessments and define production, supply, and material requirements
- Develop and manage commercialization timelines, project milestones, risks, and escalation plans
- Ensure timely coordination and execution of launch-related activities across cross-functional teams
- Manage raw and packaging material readiness, including quantity validation, artwork approvals, and supplier coordination
- Oversee production planning activities including trials, commissioning, commercial runs, and deployment execution
- Monitor inventory levels, supplier readiness, and production schedules to support launch timelines
- Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Planning teams to mitigate supply risks and operational disruptions
- Provide post-launch recommendations on stock balancing, material replenishment, and forecast adjustments
- Support Annual Business Planning (ABP) and cycle planning through commercialization and supply chain inputs
- Validate demand forecasts and recommend volume allocation, rebalancing, or timing adjustments based on operational capability
- Ensure approved commercialization plans are aligned with supply and production requirements
- Provide regular updates on launch readiness, project timelines, supply risks, and operational issues
- Facilitate alignment between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful execution
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and project review meetings
- Drive initiatives to improve commercialization processes, workflows, and supply chain execution efficiency
- Enhance visibility, reporting, and collaboration across teams to improve speed-to-market
- Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen operational excellence and execution quality
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in supply chain commercialization, product launches, operations, planning, or project management
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, procurement, manufacturing, and production planning
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, food, beverage, pharma, or consumer goods industries preferred
- Experience using ERP systems and supply chain planning tools is an advantage
