About the role
Join Golden Century Marketing as our new Accounting Manager based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and managing the accounting team to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
What you'll be doing- Manage the accounting team and oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure all accounting processes, controls, and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained
- Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights to support business decision-making
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Develop and implement accounting best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support
- Mentor and develop the accounting team to build a high-performing, engaged workforce
- 1+ years of experience in a management accounting role, preferably within the marketing or professional services industry
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and tools
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
