Makotek Computer Sales Inc. is seeking a results-driven B2B Sales Account Manager to lead and expand our business-to-business (B2B) sales efforts. This role is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with corporate clients, understanding their tech needs, and delivering tailored solutions from our product catalog.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, tech-savvy individual with a knack for building strong partnerships and driving sales growth within the business sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, acting as their primary point of contact and understanding their specific needs and challenges.
- Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with management to develop, refine, and implement a sales strategy aimed at increasing revenue from existing and new B2B accounts.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and reaching out to potential corporate clients.
- Solution Selling: Assess client needs and recommend appropriate tech solutions, products, or packages to support their business goals.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms, close deals, and achieve sales targets, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Market Research: Stay updated on tech industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging products to better understand client requirements and improve sales approaches.
- Collaboration: Work with the sales, marketing, and technical support teams to ensure smooth client onboarding, satisfaction, and post-sale support.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics; provide insights to optimize future sales efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the IT hardware or technology sector.
- Prior experience with government or private sector bidding processes is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with tendering and procurement processes is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; exceptional negotiation and presentation skills; goal-oriented with a strategic mindset.
- Familiarity with technology products, such as laptops, software, networking devices, and other IT equipment.
- Understanding of technology and how different solutions can support business needs in various industries.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as needed.
