Purpose of the position:

The Customer Development Supervisor (CDS) is responsible for leading and executing customer acquisition and retention strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share. This role focuses on building long-term partnerships with key accounts, ensuring excellent customer service, and supervising a team of sales representatives.

The CDS is expected to drive sales growth by developing and implementing strategic customer development plans aligned with the company’s goals.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product penetration and market share within assigned territories or key accounts.
  • Supervise and support a team of sales representatives in achieving individual and team targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including prospecting new clients and converting leads to active customers.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide data-driven insights to management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align promotional efforts and customer feedback with product strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sales agreements in compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and fieldwork to understand market needs, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Train and mentor junior sales team members to improve their performance and product knowledge.

Qualifications, knowledge, skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in sales or customer development, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willing to be assigned in Iloilo.
