Job Responsibilities
As a Cost Accountant Specialist, you will focus on the technical accuracy of our inventory and project costing, supporting the Accounting and Finance Manager in maintaining operational excellence. Your duties include:
- Costing & Inventory: Execute cost accounting and costing procedures specifically for the wholesale of kitchen machineries and parts.
- Data Gathering & Analytics: Assist in data gathering, metrics, and analytics to monitor the Profit & Loss (P&L) of various product lines.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Prepare various reports including data, information, and records for the department’s assessment and audit preparation (Actuarial, Accrual, BIR Compliance, etc.).
- Process Improvement: Participate in Quality Control and Assurance activities to ensure financial processes adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
- Financial Documentation: Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoices, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Project & Control: Support the monitoring of Wages and Headcount Control and assist in tracking the financial status of company ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Reconciliation: Ensure the proper filing of financial records and perform regular reconciliation to ensure audit readiness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance is a must.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting/Costing in Manufacturing and Trading, Profit & Loss, and Inventory Management.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting principles, financial regulations, and BIR rules and regulations.
- Software Mastery: Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Setup: Must be willing to work Onsite in Makati City. Preference is given to residents of Makati or nearby areas.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in journal entries and data recording.
