Cost Accountant

Prepare and manage cost sheets, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and standard cost records to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.

Analyze cost variances across materials, labor, and overhead, providing actionable insights to identify and address underlying causes.
Oversee inventory, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods cost tracking to ensure accurate product costing.
Support pricing strategies, tenders, and quotations, helping the company maintain competitive pricing.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to gather, verify, and validate cost data.
Assist in the cost accounting aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and cost accounting standards.
Support cost audits, reconciliations, and statutory filings, as required, to maintain regulatory compliance.
Provide analytical support for make-or-buy decisions and profitability analysis, contributing to strategic decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, including standard costing and variance analysis.
Practical experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with operations and finance teams.
Exceptional communication and reporting skills, both verbal and written.
Must be willing to be assigned in Cainta, Rizal.
