Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and create a friendly atmosphere during checkout.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash, and process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, or digital wallets) efficiently.
- Accurately scan and price tech products such as gadgets, accessories, and devices.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as required, adhering to company policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Assist customers with basic inquiries about tech products or direct them to the appropriate staff.
- Perform end-of-day cash reconciliations and prepare daily sales reports.
- Stay updated on promotions, warranties, and financing options to inform customers.
- Uphold company standards in appearance, punctuality, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Prior cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or willingness to learn.
