Job Summary

The Accounting Specialist – Cashier is responsible for managing the company's cash transactions, collections, and disbursements while ensuring accuracy, accountability, and compliance with company policies. The role maintains proper documentation of cash receipts and payments, prepares daily cash reports, and supports the Accounting Department in maintaining accurate financial records.

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Accounting Technology, or any related course
• Experience in cashiering, treasury, or accounting functions is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in cash handling procedures and financial documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Detail oriented, organized, and trustworthy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Receive, record, and process cash, checks, and other collections accurately
• Prepare official receipts and maintain complete collection records
• Handle petty cash and monitor cash disbursements in accordance with company policies
• Perform daily cash counts and reconciliation of collections and payments
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports
• Maintain proper filing of cashiering and accounting documents
• Assist in month end closing activities and other accounting tasks as assigned
