We are looking for a highly strategic and commercially driven Assistant Manager (Country Business Development-Travel) who will be assigned to a leading Southeast Asian super app specializing in transportation, food delivery, and on-demand services.

The Assistant Manager for Country Business Development plays a key role in supporting scoping for partnerships, development and execution across multiple business verticals. This position is responsible for enabling efficient coordination with partners, streamlining internal workflows, and ensuring consistency in partnership agreements and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage partnerships end-to-end, serving as the main bridge between external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Scope, develop, and execute partnerships across assigned industries, including identifying and engaging relevant partner PICs.
  • Drive and deliver clear brand value to maximize ROI on cash sponsorships and ex-deals. ● Build, standardize, and improve partnership processes, frameworks, and commercial terms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align partnerships with business goals and campaigns. ● Oversee contracts, documentation, billing, and payments in coordination with admin support.
  • Lead special projects and process improvements to enhance business development operations.

The team works closely with internal stakeholders across company’s verticals to support business and campaign objectives.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Main PIC for travel and telco industries: Hotels, Airlines, Platform services, Telecommunications
  • Scoping out for new partners as needed based on internal company’s stakeholder requirements
  • Negotiation of partnerships and end-to-end execution of the project
  • Review and renewal of contracts and ensure compliance
  • Acquire and establish strong relationships with different accounts w/in the assigned industries
  • Serve as a point of contact for all incoming and outgoing projects
  • Internal coordination (with FTT, cc AM) on accreditation (as needed), payment processing (invoice, status update, etc)

The must have:

  • Well-versed in Google Workspace - specifically Google Excel, Google Slides, Google Docs ● Preferably with a minimum 2-4 years of experience in account management
  • Team Player with the ability to work across a matrix structure in a fast-paced environment. ● Proactive and have the ability to communicate effectively any issues/support needed to the team.
  • Has good presentation skills and can negotiate good and strategic terms
  • Has basic knowledge in leads generation for scoping for the right PICs
  • Can work independently and capable of working physically in the office
