A cook (or Grillman) for an inasal restaurant is responsible for preparing, marinating, and expertly grilling Filipino-style barbecue while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards
Food Preparation: Prepare and marinate meats (like chicken and pork) according to standard restaurant recipes.Grilling: Cook food evenly over a hot grill, continuously basting with anato oil and local spices to achieve the signature inasal flavor and look.
Quality Control: Check meat freshness, temperature, and taste before serving to customers.
Kitchen Sanitation: Keep cooking areas, utensils, and grilling stations clean and compliant with health codes.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education: At least a High School Graduate, Senior High, or Alternative Learning System (ALS) completer.Experience: Prior experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) or local inasal establishments is preferred, but many locations offer paid training for physically fit applicants.
Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit, able to stand for long shifts, and withstand working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
