Cook Assistant
Schedule: Shifting schedule / Flexible hoursSalary: Manila rate + Service Charge and Payed OT
Location: Alabang Muntinlup, BGC Taguig, Quezon City and San Juan, Makati, Paranaque
Job Summary:The Cook Assistant supports the kitchen operations by assisting chefs or cooks in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. This role ensures that meals are prepared efficiently, ingredients are organized, and food safety standards are always followed.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in preparing ingredients (chopping, slicing, marinating, etc.) for cooking.
Support the cook or chef in daily kitchen operations.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Ensure that all utensils, tools, and equipment are clean and properly stored.
Monitor inventory and assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Help plate and serve dishes as needed.
Dispose of waste properly and keep work areas tidy throughout the shift.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications: At least High School Graduate or Vocational Course Graduate in Culinary or related field.
With or without experience (training provided).Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and cooking methods.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsible, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
