Construct, install, and repair furniture, cabinets, doors, partitions, and other wooden structures
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Operate carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment safely
Conduct repairs and maintenance on damaged structures and fixtures
Ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment of structures
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools
Coordinate with supervisors and other workers regarding project requirements
Follow occupational safety and health procedures at all times
Qualifications/Requirements
High school graduate or vocational course related to carpentryKnowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools
Ability to read measurements and construction plans
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
