Key Responsibilities:
I. Facility Maintenance & Repair
o Routine Structural Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the facilities structure, including fixing damage to windows, doors, walls and any part of the facilities that needed fixing.
o Plumbing: Repair broken or leaking plumbing fixtures to prevent water damage and restore full functionality of water systems.o Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair damaged electrical wiring, addressing issues such as shorts or severed wires.
o Climate Control: Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of building equipment responsible for climate control (HVAC) within the facility.
o Safety & Hazard Mitigation: Promptly fix potential hazards to ensure a safe environment and prevent injuries.
o Aesthetic Maintenance: Perform painting on facilities parts, tables, and chairs when existing paint is faded or scratched.
o Carpentry: Execute necessary carpentry repairs on damaged walls, tables, chairs, and other facilities fixtures.
II. Proactive & Preventive Measures
o Preventive Maintenance (PM): Implement preventive maintenance measures on facilities, machines, and equipment to avoid future operational problems and extend asset lifespan proactively.o Emergency Response: Be on call for and respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues, such as major leaks, electrical failures, or other immediate safety concerns.
o Security Support: Collaborate with the management to address and repair any vulnerabilities in the facilities physical security (e.g., locks, alarms, surveillance systems).
o Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-saving measures to reduce utility costs, such as recommending and installing energy-efficient lighting or HVAC system improvements.
III. Documentation & Inventory Management
o Maintenance Documentation: Update the Repair and Maintenance Calendar and Logbook daily to ensure all tasks are completed, scheduled, and formally recorded.
o Daily Coordination: Provide daily updates and coordinate all maintenance activities with the Administrative Staff.o Schedule Management: Ensure all facilities have an updated Repair and Maintenance Schedule.
o Equipment Inventory: Maintain an accurate inventory of all tools and equipment used for repairs and maintenance. Ensure tools are in good working condition and report any missing or damaged items immediately.o Budget Management: Work strictly within the allocated budget for repairs and maintenance. Provide cost estimates for larger projects and seek necessary approval before proceeding with major repairs.
o Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities (repairs, inspections, PMs) and generate regular status reports for management.
Qualifications/Requirements

- Preferably with carpentry skills.
- Plumbing and electrical systems skills are an advantage.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and organization abilities
