Electrical Design Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking a Electrical Design Engineer responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, layouts, and components in compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Works with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable electrical solutions from concept to completion.

• Prepare technical designs, drawings, and layouts for Solar PV, BESS, and EV system projects.
• Support proposal and bidding activities by preparing system sizing, electrical designs, and preliminary layouts.
• Conduct site assessments and visits to collect technical data and validate design parameters.
• Review project documentation to ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code and other relevant standards.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and other technical reports.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of designs and deliverables.
• Assist the senior electrical engineering team in developing design tools, templates, and standard procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations related to PV systems, BESS, EV systems, and MV/HV design.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in electrical design in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting and layout preparation).
• Knowledge of ETAP or other electrical analysis software is an advantage.
• Willing to conduct site visits as required.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with the ability to adapt to new challenges.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
