About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead one of our consumer lending businesses with nationwide operations. The role is responsible for driving profitable growth, managing the overall business performance and leading a cross functional team covering sales, operations, credit, collections and support functions.
This is a senior leadership position for a commercially driven executive who can balance growth, risk management and operational excellence while building a high performing organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overall business and be accountable for P&L performance
- Develop and execute strategies to drive portfolio growth, revenue and profitability
- Lead nationwide sales and branch operations to achieve business targets
- Work closely with Credit and Collections teams to manage portfolio quality and delinquency levels
- Monitor key business metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
- Drive productivity and performance across branches and field sales teams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance and company requirements
- Build, coach and develop a high performing leadership team
- Identify new market opportunities, products and growth initiatives
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic planning and business transformation initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in consumer finance, lending, banking, microfinance, fintech or a related industry
- Proven experience managing a business unit, region or nationwide operation
- Strong understanding of lending operations, portfolio management, credit and collections
- Demonstrated success in driving growth and profitability
- Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills
- Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams
