About the role

Primeroots Corp. is seeking a skilled and versatile Human Resource Generalist to join our team in Guiguinto, Bulacan. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our organisation's human resources functions across all business areas.

As a Human Resource Generalist, you will serve as a strategic partner to management and employees, providing comprehensive HR services that contribute to organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business success. This role encompasses a broad range of HR responsibilities and requires someone who can adapt to diverse challenges whilst maintaining professional standards and company values.

Key responsibilities
  1. Recruit, screen and interview candidates for various positions, managing the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding
  2. Administer employee benefits programmes including health insurance, retirement plans and other welfare initiatives
  3. Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution
  4. Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labour laws and regulations
  5. Coordinate training and development programmes to support employee growth and organisational capability
  6. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
  7. Process payroll information, leave applications and other employee administrative requests
  8. Contribute to succession planning and talent management initiatives
  9. Support organisational culture initiatives and employee engagement programmes
  10. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a generalist HR role or equivalent HR function
  3. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in the Philippines or similar jurisdictions
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels
  5. Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
  6. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  7. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  8. Problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach to challenges
  9. Experience in recruitment and selection processes
  10. Knowledge of payroll administration and benefits management is advantageous
