Sales Accountant

The Sales Accountant is responsible for managing and reconciling sales transactions across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. This role supports the preparation of sales and financial reports, handles daily accounting tasks, and assists in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and reconcile a high volume of sales data, ensuring accuracy across systems (Sales System, POS, and cash deposits/online transactions).
• Prepare and analyze sales reports as required by management.
• Record sales journal entries, including the reconciliation of petty cash expenses from store operations.
• Perform e-sales reconciliation and filing.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations (e.g., bank, cash, and other balance sheet accounts).
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform other sales-related and general accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Accounting Technology (CPA is an advantage).
• Proven experience in managing and reconciling sales data and preparing sales reports.
• Experience in general accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Preferably with experience in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
