Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, assisting with product selection, and answering questions to facilitate sales.
- Sales Generation: Promoting special offers, upselling, and cross-selling products to maximize sales targets.
- Merchandising & Maintenance:
- Transactions: Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system for cash/card payments, exchanges, and returns.
- Product Knowledge: Staying updated on product features and benefits to provide accurate information to customers.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Experience: Previous retail or sales experience is preferred, though often an entry-level position.
- Operational Skills: Basic math and computer proficiency for processing transactions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
