Business Development Analyst
We are looking for a talented individual that has two or more years’ of experience of working within the consultancy sector in the Philippines with a focus on selling engineering and environment services to the private sector. This role offers the opportunity to expand your career into the renewable energy and sustainability sector with a strong focus on Offshore Wind.
NIRAS is a multi-disciplinary engineering company with a strong footprint in Offshore Wind in Europe and Asia-Pacific. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our team in the Philippines with an interest to work with renewable energy and sustainability practice to further our activities in the Philippines jointly with our team in Manila and Taiwan.
The role will work from our office in Manila.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
- Analyze customer needs and preferences to identify new business prospects.
- Business Strategy & Planning
- Develop business strategies based on research insights.
- Identify and assess potential partnerships and suppliers.
- Assist in setting revenue targets and growth plans.
- Sales & Revenue Growth Support
- Identify potential clients, sales opportunities in private and public sectors
- Assist in developing sales strategies.
- Assist in creating proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Working with senior management, technical experts, finance team and across teams in other NIRAS global
- Comfortable in communicating and collaborating with international colleagues
- Communicate insights and strategies effectively to Senior Business Development Manager.
- Assist in negotiations and deal structuring.
- Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in business operations and recommend improvements.
- Implement best practices for business development efforts.
Requirements
Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in market research, sales and business development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable business strategies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
