Position Statement:
The General Manager - Deputy will undertake an on-the-job six month training program to assume responsibility for leading the strategic, operational, and financial performance across the Timezone Philippines business following the planned retirement of the current incumbent.Leading in a way that is consistently Real and aligned to our values and behaviors, the deputy GM drives Remarkable business growth, Guest Obsessed experiences, and a culture with Fun at its core. With accountability for domestic brand expansion, operational efficiency and strong commercial outcomes, the GM leads the Philippines team to Partner together to develop and deliver market relevant strategies to position Timezone as a leader in out-of-home family entertainment in the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end business across all Timezone Philippines venues and support office, ensuring consistent
- Drive strong commercial and financial performance across the portfolio, including revenue growth,
- Develop and execute the overall business and operational strategy, partnering with senior leadership and joint
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including joint venture partners, landlords,
- Partner with Group to identify, evaluate, and implement expansion opportunities, including new site
- Build, lead, coach, and inspire a Remarkable leadership team and Fun Squad, fostering a culture that
- Champion marketing, brand, and guest experience to increase market share, guest engagement and loyalty,
- Drive innovation across entertainment offerings including digital integration, immersive technologies and
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, safety, and risk standards, creating a healthy, safe and engaging
environment for guests and Fun Squad.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications, Experience & Skills- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (MBA is an advantage)
- 10+ years’ operational leadership experience in guest-facing games and family entertainment center (FEC) industry.
- 5+ years’ leadership experience in a culture-led business, managing, developing and motivating a Gen Z team.
- Evidence of exposure to markets with best-in-class games and FEC multi-site operations, experience working in Southeast Asia and Oceania highly desirable.
- Proven commercial acumen delivering in a multi-site environment, including P&L ownership, financial management with demonstrated knowledge of gaming and FEC levers to deliver strong financial results.
- Strategic thinker together with hands-on execution capability
- Broad and adaptable communication ability with strong stakeholder and partnership management experience
- Previous experience in business expansion and site development projects.
- Demonstrated success in guest experience within a Games and FEC environment, with deep knowledge of the latest Games and trends across immersive, high-tech, and socially driven play.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
