Building maintenance man

Job Description

A Maintenance Personnel is responsible for ensuring that the building, facilities, and equipment are properly maintained and operating efficiently. They perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to support safe and smooth daily operations.

What you'll be doing:

• Conduct routine inspection of facilities and equipment
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues promptly
• Carry out preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
• Repair or replace damaged fixtures, tools, and equipment
• Monitor and report major repair needs to management
• Assist in setting up equipment or facilities for operations and events
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Keep maintenance tools and supplies organized and in good condition

• At least High School or Senior High School graduate
• Vocational course or NC II certification related to maintenance is an advantage
• Previous experience in building or facility maintenance is preferred
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical works
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance problems efficiently
• Willing to work flexible schedules when needed
• Responsible, hardworking, and detail-oriented
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures
