Assistant Director – R2R, Projects

Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11PM Manila time, overlaps with UK operating hours
Employment type: Permanent
Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Pay range: Php 154,000 to Php 217,000

What will you do as an Assistant Director, R2R - Projects?

Reporting to the Assistant Director - UK Finance, your accountabilities will include:

  • Take charge of key projects related to the setup of new entities and rationalization of overseas offices. This involves active participation and representation at relevant forums, setting up new processes and controls, and contributing to the strategic evolution of the Finance team.
  • To ensure compliance with financial accounting, controls and tax-related regulations, laws and filing requirements. Will also be responsible for managing end-to-end overseas statutory accounts and audits.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the financial position of overseas branches is a crucial responsibility, requiring continuous monitoring and thorough scrutiny of reporting—an essential aspect of the role.
  • Be a key lead for implementing change as required to deliver an efficient R2R function.

An ideal candidate has the following qualities:

Essential:

  • Qualified Accountant, with 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience working within a large, complex multi-national Group
  • Extensive SAP expertise, including hands‑on experience with key modules and the ability to optimise system processes.
  • Strong relationship management skills to liaise with both other areas of finance and across the wider business.

Desirable:

  • Able to challenge existing processes and present innovative solutions which aligns with our commitment to continuous improvement and strategic advancement.
  • You will have the ability to drive success with a keen attention to detail and a professional personal style.
