Non-Clinical Medical Assistant or Non-Clinical Patient Support Associate is responsible for providing administrative and customer support services to patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams. This role focuses on non-clinical tasks such as patient coordination, documentation, scheduling, and handling inquiries while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.

The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare support environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, or system platforms in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist with appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and patient coordination
• Accurately document interactions, updates, and case notes in healthcare systems
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of patient concerns
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality policies
• Perform administrative tasks related to healthcare workflows and support processes
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required by the account
• Meet productivity, quality, and service level standards set by the company

• Bachelor’s degree in any course or at least college level
• With knowledge or experience in handling healthcare accounts (BPO or non-BPO); experience is an advantage but not required
• Familiarity with healthcare workflows, patient coordination, and documentation processes
• Basic understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and data privacy standards
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Customer service–oriented with problem-solving skills
• Able to remain calm, focused, and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work on-site in Iloilo City and on night shift (U.S. hours)
