UI/UX Designer

Job Overview

The ideal candidate combines strong design thinking, user empathy, and practical execution skills to transform complex problems into simple, elegant design solutions.

We are also looking for someone who is comfortable leveraging modern AI-powered design tools and workflows to improve design efficiency, ideation, prototyping, and collaboration.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to understand user needs and behaviors.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new and existing products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.
• Apply human-centered design principles to improve usability and accessibility.
• Ensure design consistency by maintaining and expanding the company’s design system or UI library.
• Translate data and feedback into actionable design improvements.
• Stay updated with UI/UX trends, design tools, AI-assisted design workflows, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in design reviews, provide feedback, and iterate based on user and team input.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to support ideation, wireframing, content generation, rapid prototyping, design exploration, and workflow optimization.
• Work closely with developers during implementation to ensure design quality and consistency across platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Multimedia Arts, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
• Proven experience designing for mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions, visual design skills, and end-to-end design thinking.
• Experience using AI-assisted design tools or workflows in professional or personal projects.
• Background in Fintech, SaaS, or F&B POS systems is an advantage.
• Applicants must provide a portfolio or case studies of previous UI/UX projects for review.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Framer.
• Familiarity with AI-powered design or productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Galileo AI, Uizard, Adobe Firefly, or similar tools.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and design handoff to developers using tools like Zeplin or Figma Inspect.
• Experience with Design Systems, Responsive Design, and Accessibility Standards (WCAG 2.1).
• Familiarity with User Research, Usability Testing, and Analytics Tools (Hotjar, Google Analytics, etc.).

• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Flutter, etc.) or design for Apple Human Interface Guidelines / Material Design.
• Experience integrating AI-generated concepts into production-ready UI/UX deliverables.
• Experience working in agile product development environments.

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants are required to submit a portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX projects, including:

• Mobile and/or web application designs
• Wireframes, prototypes, or design systems
• Real product case studies or problem-solving processes
• Examples of AI-assisted design workflows or projects (if applicable)
