Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transaction recording and account reconciliation.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment of bills and collection of payments from customers.
• Tax Form Submissions: Prepare and submit tax forms to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports summarizing organizational performance to inform decision-making.
• Cash Flow Monitoring: Track incoming and outgoing cash to ensure sufficient funds are available for expenses.
• Audit Support: Audit financial transactions for accuracy and compliance, participating in audits when necessary.
• Accounting Procedures: Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Payroll Management: Process payroll, ensuring accuracy in wage calculations, deductions, and timely payments.
• Payroll Tax Filing: Calculate and submit payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records and payroll.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, general office practices, or data processing
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Working knowledge of accounting software (Paylocity preferred)
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to communicate effectively with various teams
• Knowledge of payroll regulations and tax filing procedures

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with Magento, NetSuite, Great Plains, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience with financial audits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
