We’re looking for a Cost & Budget Superintendent to join our Finance team. You won’t just track costs—you’ll lead the charge in identifying waste, improving workflows, and shaping budgets that work. If you’re ready to move beyond traditional accounting and become a true business partner, this is your role.
What You’ll Do
Analyze & Optimize- Gather, evaluate, and interpret data using analytical tools and statistical methods.
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across departments.
- Provide the data and analyses that drive operational changes, strategic initiatives, and cost reductions.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress against goals and deadlines.
- Assist in reviewing operational practices and documenting project work plans.
- Ensure and monitor the adequacy of fixed asset controls, systems, and procedures.
- Analyze waste-related costs (material waste, production inefficiencies).
- Collaborate with operational teams to minimize waste and track cost-saving initiatives.
- Report the bottom-line impact of every savings project.
- Work with various departments to align operational strategies with business goals.
- Support feasibility studies, capital expenditures, and budgeting decisions.
- Take on special assignments from senior management.
What You’ll Need
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- CPA required.
- 3–5 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related field (cost or budget experience strongly preferred).
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Proactive – you juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
- Sharp analytical ability – you understand data efficiently and productively.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, with excellent time management and reporting skills.
- System-savvy and comfortable with accounting software.
- Reliable, honest, and high-integrity.
- Physically and mentally healthy (able to handle dynamic workloads).
- Computer literate – proficient in MS Office.
- Collaborative environment – you’ll work directly with operations, not just spreadsheets.
- High visibility – your insights go straight to senior management.
- Confidentiality and integrity are non-negotiable – we trust you with critical data.
