General Accounting Manager

We’re looking for a General Accounting Manager to take full ownership of our financial reporting, internal controls, tax compliance, and cash flow management. You won’t just keep the books—you’ll lead a large, diverse team and partner with senior leadership to drive the company forward.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the timely preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports in line with GAAP and company policies.
• Ensure full compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, etc.).
• Maintain proper documentation and recording of all financial transactions.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with the Cost & Budget and Systems & Control teams to ensure reporting accuracy and control effectiveness.
• Safeguard financial records and assets.

• Monitor and manage daily cash flow, including forecasting and funding requirements.
• Ensure sufficient liquidity for both operational and capital needs.
• Work closely with the Cash Management Services Manager and Treasury Supervisor.

• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate a large accounting team (Superintendents, Analysts, Managers, and more).
• Foster a culture of accuracy, productivity, and continuous professional growth.

• Support internal and external audits – ensure timely resolution of findings and recommendations.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, government agencies, and internal departments.

• Monitor departmental operational costs and ensure efficient resource utilization within approved budgets.
• Prepare financial analyses, forecasts, and management reports to support strategic planning.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.

• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in accounting or finance.
• Extensive hands-on experience in:
• Financial reporting
• Tax compliance
• Cash management
• Audit coordination

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Philippine financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills – you know how to develop people.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills – you can talk to banks, auditors, and operations with equal ease.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
