Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point person for company-wide repair and maintenance tracking across all farm sites.
- Conduct regular field visits to inspect, document, and follow up on mechanical, electrical, and facility repair jobs.
- Record and report all expenses related to maintenance and repairs in coordination with farm technicians and suppliers.
- Maintain a master inventory log of tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials under the FIFO system, ensuring accountability across farm units.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering or requisition as needed with the purchasing/admin team.
- Work closely with the head electrician, technicians, and farm heads to verify and log completed maintenance jobs.
- Submit weekly reports to the business owner/head office summarizing fieldwork status, issues, and expenditures.
- Assist in identifying trends, gaps, and recurring repair needs to recommend long-term solutions or upgrades.
- Ensure physical tools and assigned materials are properly labeled, stored, and issued based on company protocol.
- Support documentation during audits, asset checks, or incident reports involving farm equipment.
- Serve as a liaison between farm operations and the central admin team, ensuring seamless communication on maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the repair records office or storeroom.
- Uphold safety procedures and compliance with operational protocols in all repair or inventory activities.
- Be prepared to support in other administrative tasks (e.g., procurement, basic asset tagging) as assigned by the business owner.
