US Senior Accountant (Permanent WFH) - Quezon City - ref. j114023

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, providing superior financial and accounting services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, invoicing, billings, payments, bank uploads, finance logs, and report generation
• Prepare financial statements and other reports, involving cash flow, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies
• Execute month-end closing activities, involving journals, forecasting, and analysis
• Oversee entire client ledgers, proactively managing and resolving any discrepancies that may arise
• Provide comprehensive accounting services across all facets of the client's business

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required for this position.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Online) and 10-key typing.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have a stable internet connection for a work-from-home arrangement. The designated work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.
