The Senior Accountant will oversee and be responsible for the accounting activities of the Hotel and Restaurant including financial reporting, financial performance & expense & cost reporting, budgeting, compliance, and forecasting.
- The Senior Accountant will take charge of maintaining appropriate accounting records and internal documentation for predetermined accounting activity, prepare all monthly and annual financial statements, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards.
- The Senior Accountant will also oversee and manage other staff in their daily accounting activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bi-weekly payroll preparation and filing of remittances.
- Ensuring proper revenue and expense recognition.
- Managing select administration activities, such as state unemployment and income tax registrations.
