About the opportunity
This contractor role supports QIAGEN’s North America business as part of the Finance and Accounting Shared Service Center in Manila. The position focuses on end-to-end accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely collections, accurate customer accounts, and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Employment type: Agency Worker for 6 months
Your tasks include- Monitoring accounts receivable balances and following up on overdue invoices to minimize outstanding receivables.
- Communicating with customers via phone and email to resolve billing inquiries, disputes, and payment delays.
- Sending payment reminders, negotiating payment plans, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
- Reviewing customer orders, performing credit checks, and supporting credit limit assessments in line with company policies.
- Approving and releasing orders in collaboration with Sales and Distribution teams.
- Preparing and analyzing reports on billing and collection activities to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with defined processes, policies, and quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce or comparable financial and CRM systems.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented, solution-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail, with solid organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Amenable to a 6-month contract and a night shift schedule to support North America operations.
