About the role
As a Purchasing Officer at Joeun Partners International, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the company's procurement operations. Based in Pasig City, this full-time position will involve managing the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment rentals, to support the organization's procurement functions.You will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of all purchased items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work closely with the internal departments (Purchasing Department, Operations Department, Accounting Department, other colleagues/clients/suppliers).
- Professional and clear communication (written and verbal) with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and clients of the company.
- Oversee the procurement process which include: negotiating contracts, sourcing suppliers, and managing vendor & client relationships to ensure economical purchasing.
- Source and purchase construction materials, equipment, machineries, and other production-related supplies.
- Exceptional knowledge in rental of machineries and equipment for the site.
- Excellent knowledge of vendor sourcing practices.
- Evaluate and inspect the quality of goods and services received to ensure they meet the company specifications and standards required by the personnel site.
- Track and reconcile from PR to PO up to delivery for each site.
- Excellent in tracking and reconciling PRs, open POs and invoicing concerns.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate vendor master list and procurement records.
- Compliance with vendor code Ethics.
- Must be able to perform ad-hoc reporting and special projects as deem needed by the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred; Supply Chain Management, or other related field are also considered.
- Minimum five (5) years and up experience in construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize the procurement process.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities to liaise with suppliers effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management is a plus.
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and best practices.
- Must be willing to work in Pasig City.
