COST CONTROLLER

• CPA license required
• Atleast five (5) years in cost controllership role or equivalent
• Experienced with cost/financial modeling
• Advanced MS applications user, especially MS excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Champion with process improvement and cost reduction efforts

Job Description:

A Cost Controller is responsible for managing and analyzing costs to ensure financial efficiency and profitability within an organization.

• Cost Management: Develop and implement cost standards for materials and labor, ensuring that costs are within budget and procedures are followed to maximize profitability.
• Budget Preparation: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for various business lines, working closely with production and sales teams to track actual costs against the budget.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs and recommend changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This includes validating the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate cost reports and financial documents, providing insights and guidance to management on cost control initiatives.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accurate tracking of materials and costs.
• Collaboration: Work with department managers and other stakeholders to identify areas for cost savings and provide support on cost control strategies. Together with the Treasury Manager, when needed, build the investment capital model for review with the CFO and COO on a timely manner.
