FINANCE CONTROLLER (CPA) – Cebu City | Trading Industry

We are seeking a Finance Controller who is not only technically strong but also a visionary leader, capable of driving financial integrity, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Finance & Accounting operations, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
• Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership in financial planning and decision-making
• Drive financial performance through insights, forecasting, and risk management

• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Provide actionable financial insights to support business growth and profitability
• Monitor cash flow, cost controls, and capital expenditures

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Accounting team
• Instill a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
• Develop future leaders within the Finance function

• Drive automation, process optimization, and system enhancements
• Strengthen financial processes for scalability and efficiency
• Ensure best practices in financial governance and reporting

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – non-negotiable
• Minimum 8–12 years progressive experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably in trading industry
• At least 3–5 years in a leadership or controllership role
• Strong expertise in:
• Financial reporting & compliance
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Internal controls & audit
• Corporate finance & cash flow management
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage
• Highly analytical, strategic thinker with strong business acumen
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
