Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel and resort guests while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation. This role requires strong knowledge of cocktails, drinks, and bar operations, as well as excellent guest service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and equipment.
  • Take guest orders accurately and ensure timely service.
  • Provide recommendations on drinks and cocktail menus to enhance guest experience.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory control, and report shortages to the supervisor.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately, when required.
  • Assist in setting up and closing the bar, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with all guests and colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar tools.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Open and willing to relocate and work in an island-based setup.
