We are actively seeking a skilled full-time Senior Accountant – Team Leader to lead our dynamic team and grow into a Practice Manager within two years.As a firm serving a vast clientele across both Australia and Overseas, RBizz offers a unique opportunity to engage in complex, high-value accounting projects that promise not only professional advancement but also long-term career ownership.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Required Qualifications and Proficiencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or CA qualification preferred).
- At least three years of hands-on experience in Australian financial and tax accounting.
- In-depth experience working with Xero and QuickBooks across complex client portfolios.
- Strong technical accounting skills spanning the full cycle — from transactions through to financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience preparing financial and management reports for complex group structures.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounting professionals.
- Proficiency with the latest technologies in accounting, reporting, and practice management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Reliable high-speed internet access and a private workspace.
Preferred Experience:
- Bank reconciliation and inter-company reconciliation
- Invoicing to customers and posting bills from suppliers
- Suppliers payment management and credit notes
- Fixed assets accounting
- Hire-purchase and lease accounting
- Month-end accruals and provisions
- Chart of accounts and accounts mapping
- Payroll processing
- Preparation of BAS, IAS, and Australian tax compliance
- Financial statement preparation for companies, trusts, and group structures
