General Accounting and Tax Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MAJOR:
- Preparation of month-end and year-end closing reports.
- Review of tax returns and work sheets.
- Responsible for Netsuite data upload and management.
- Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
MINOR:
- Lead, mentor and provide guidance and/or training to associates.
- Maintenance and monitoring of tax and closing calendar.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely submission of closing reports.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests from senior management or external stakeholders.
Education: B.S. Accountancy/Accounting Technology/Management Accounting
License/Certificate: Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
Years of Experience: 2-3 years of experience
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must be detail-oriented, MS Excel savvy, quick with numbers
- Has working knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws
- Proficient in accounting software and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Has good communication and problem-solving skills
- Has strong analytical skills
- Can work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Can work diligently with little or no supervision
- Experience working in an external audit firm (preferred)
