 I.  POSITION DESCRIPTION

The HR Associate – Compensation and Benefits is responsible for the administration of employee compensation, benefits, and taxation processes. The role ensures proper handling of government-mandated contributions and taxes, while maintaining compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

II. POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administer government-mandated benefits and statutory programs, ensuring accurate and timely remittance and reporting.
  • Process and manage mandatory government contributions including SSS, PhilHealth, and HDMF/Pag-IBIG.
  • Handle the administration of employee benefits, including HMO and statutory benefits.
  • Compute and process employee withholding taxes and ensure compliance with BIR regulations and tax reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and process BIR requirements including 1601-C, 2316, annualization, and Alpha List submission.
  • Maintain accurate employee compensation, tax, and benefits records and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding compensation, benefits, and taxation concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and government regulations related to compensation, benefits, and taxation
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to compensation, benefits, and taxation administration.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws, government contributions, employee benefits, and BIR taxation regulations.
III. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, or any related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration and taxation.
  • Must have experience in processing BIR Form 1601-C, BIR Form 2316, BIR Annualization, and preparation of Alpha List.
  • Knowledgeable in Philippine labor laws, government-mandated benefits, and BIR taxation requirements.
  • Experience in handling employee benefits, mandatory contributions, and withholding tax processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
