- Technical Support:
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
- Providing technical assistance and support services.
- Resolving IT support requests and documenting them in ticketing systems.
- Installing and configuring software and hardware.
- System and Network Management:
- Maintaining and optimizing computer systems, servers, and networks.
- Ensuring the security and reliability of IT infrastructure.
- Monitoring network performance and implementing necessary upgrades or changes.
- Implementing and managing security protocols and access controls.
- System Administration:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access to systems and data.
- Performing data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Project Management:
- Participating in the design, implementation, and testing of new systems and software.
- Managing IT projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Training and Documentation:
- Providing training to users on new software and hardware.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for IT systems and procedures.
- Preparing reference materials for users.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicating effectively with users and other IT team members.
- Collaborating with other departments to understand their IT needs.
- Liaising with third-party vendors for support and maintenance.
- Other Duties:
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and security threats.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Analyzing data to identify and resolve system issues.
- Assisting with the procurement of IT equipment and software.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Knowledge of network protocols and security concepts.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Education:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is often preferred.
