We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Generator Set Technician to join our growing team. If you have experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel generator sets, we want to hear from you!- Core Qualifications
Education: At least a Vocational/Technical Course graduates (e.g., Electrical
Technology, Industrial Electricity).
Certifications: TESDA National Certificate II (NC II) in Electrical Installation and
Maintenance or related fields is highly valued, and sometimes mandatory.
Experience: Generally, 1 to 5 years of experience in installing, maintaining, and
repairing commercial/industrial generators is required.
Specialized Knowledge: Proficient in Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS),
generator controls, troubleshooting electrical components (stator, rotor,excitation systems), and reading electrical schematics.
- Key Skills and Requirements
Technical Skills: Ability to perform load testing, diagnostic troubleshooting, and
preventive maintenance (PM) on diesel generators.
Physical Ability: Must be able to work at outdoors.Licensure: A non/professional driver's license is often required for field service
roles.
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge in using diagnostic software for controllers
(e.g., Deep Sea,, Smartgen, Harsen & ComAp).
