Trading Post Supervisor / Collections Supervisor (CEBU)
Cebu2World Development Inc., a subsidiary of Megawide Corporation, is looking for a results-driven Trading Post Supervisor to oversee daily trading post operations within Carbon Market.
As Cebu’s oldest public market continues its transformation into a vibrant hub for food, culture, tourism, and commerce, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient flow of goods, appraisal processes, and trading operations that support thousands of vendors and stakeholders.
Reporting to Finance & Accounting Manager, the role is responsible for supervising trading post activities, ensuring proper appraisal and collection processes, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and leading continuous process improvements on the ground.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily trading post operations, ensuring smooth flow of goods entering the market.
- Oversee appraisal and ensure accurate computation and collection of corresponding fees.
- Ensure proper implementation of trading post procedures in compliance with guidelines and local ordinances.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities, ensuring designated areas and safety protocols are followed.
- Review and consolidate reports on vehicle monitoring, goods movement, and appraisal summaries.
- Resolve escalated vendor and supplier concerns related to appraisal and collection processes.
- Ensure clear communication of rules, policies, and trading post procedures to stakeholders.
- Lead process improvements, including digitalization and efficiency initiatives for trading operations.
- Mentor and supervise team members, ensuring performance alignment, coaching, and capability development.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field; finance and accounting, business-related courses preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in retail operations, market operations, logistics, or similar field.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Experience in handling high-volume transactions, logistics flow, or market-based operations is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Willing to work onsite at Carbon Market, Brgy. Ermita, Cebu City, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
