WAREHOUSE IN-CHARGE

Job Summary:

The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for the overall supervision of warehouse operations, including inventory control, handling collections, and supporting administrative and field-related tasks. The role also involves performing errands such as bank transactions, mail handling, and supplier canvassing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Management
• Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure proper storage of items
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
• Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper documentation
• Collections & Bank Transactions
• Collect payments from clients or authorized representatives
• Ensure timely deposit of cheques and cash collections
• Keep accurate records and submit reports of all transactions
• Mailing & Documentation
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, documents, and parcels
• Ensure timely delivery and proper filing of all correspondence
• Canvassing & Procurement Support
• Canvass suppliers for materials, tools, and services
• Compare quotations and recommend cost-effective options
• Errands & Liaison Work
• Perform various company errands such as document processing and deliveries
• Coordinate with external parties, suppliers, and offices as needed
• Driving & Logistics Support
• Drive company vehicle/motorcycle (4-wheel or 2 Wheel) for official tasks and errands
• Ensure proper use, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of the vehicle

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any course
• With experience in warehouse operations or similar role is an advantage
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented, especially in handling collections
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Familiar with basic documentation and reporting
• Must have a valid driver’s license and can drive a 4-wheel vehicle & 2 wheel motorcycle
• Willing to perform fieldwork and multitask
